Today I spent 6 hours picking Legos out of piles of plastic Happy Meal toys & I went to the doctor & then later I got in a verbal altercation with our old landlord after he followed me around in his car while I was driving through our old neighborhood.
But then I got to see a bunch of good friends & I played a good set & I feel really good.
A list of the magazines available in the lobby of ASU’s student health services:
RA & You
Diabetes Forecast
Arthritis Today
I think they got their demographic wrong.
Though there is a pamphlet titled “STIs prevention & treatment.”
I don’t know anyone who likes reclaiming screens as much as I do.
Tristan & I just rented a car & drove 300 miles so we can play at the Trunk Space tonight! You better show up!
My auto insurance rates are the lowest they’ve ever been. As in, I’m used to paying around $180 a month, & it’s dropped to $46 a month.
I’m okay with (i.e. pretty into) the fact that there was a tape of Van Morrison’s greatest hits in the case for The Cure’s “Show” that Tristan got from Mesa Thrift.
I’m renting a car on Saturday, instead...
Emperor X // Stephen Steinbrink Tour Poster
stephensteinbrink:
Designed by yours truly, using only the finest of non-digital photocopiers manufactured in 1987.
Stephen makes the best flyers & this tour is gonna be top-notch! Dogbreth is playing with these buds in Flaggystaff next week!

Wrote some song lyrics, it’s pretty heavy-handed.
Took Quark to the vet, he’s “impressively healthy”.
Eating a popsicle, finally.
AND SOME MAC & CHEESE.
I’M SICK & THE ONLY THING THAT SOUNDS GOOD IS FRUIT JUICE POPSICLES.

1. Moving into a storage unit & a van is harder than moving into a house.
2. Playing music is fun.
3. Spaghetti Factory is mysterious.
4. One of my favorite things about Quark is how he lifts his leg to poop.
5. I might just end up missing this mousey house.
ALSO,
if we have borrowed / ended up with anything of yours, I’m gonna be dropping stuff off at folks’ houses tomorrow. So be on the lookout for weird items on yr doorsteps.
YARD SALE TOMORROW & PROBABLY MONDAY TOO
Here are some things you’ll find:
cameras, blankets, fake flowers, chairs, a bowling ball bag, craft supplies, a remote control miniature helicopter, luggage, towels, some really good drawing paper, Christmas lights, an unused can of Axe body spray, & a giant coffee table, among lots of other (cool & totally usable) stuff.
I’m getting rid of almost all of my clothing, & in doing so came upon the (cool) revelation that I am more than my (awesome) t-shirt collection.
I had a long, weird post about this, but instead:
THERE’S A SHOW AT OUR HOUSE TOMORROW & DOGBRETH IS PLAYING & IT’S THE LAST SHOW AT JÜDY WHILE SHE WAS OURS & I’LL PROBABLY TRY TO GIVE MY STUFF AWAY SO COME OVER!
I’m gonna be sorting & boxing & tossing all sorts of stuff in our house over the coming days. Feel free to come by & listen to records real loud & hear me reminisce & probably curse.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!
Also I got a bunch of “A”s & two “A+”s.
I just wanna listen to music & make art!
I’ve been using the phrase “shit show” a lot lately.
Today was really cool & I’m really grateful.
